Joey Logano sees great potential for Josef Newgarden in NASCAR road course races. Logano, a two-time Cup champion, believes that if Newgarden had the opportunity to compete in one of the road course races, he would be a strong contender and fight for the win from the start. Logano points to Newgarden’s experience driving sports cars in IMSA and similar stock car racing series as evidence that he would quickly adapt to the Next-Gen cars introduced by NASCAR in 2022.
