Honda’s results and performances in the current MotoGP season have not been ideal or as desired. However, Luca Marini remains optimistic and confident in the work being done.
Despite the lack of significant improvements, the Italian rider from Repsol Honda insisted: ‘We are going in the right direction, I say this since the beginning of the year. Everybody expected to start the season with a better performance compared to the last year, while we started even worse’.
While acknowledging that there was lost time due to the contrary start to their expectations, Marini emphasized that only time is needed and the course has been correct from the start:
– For this, we lost some time, we lost some months of development, but now we can back on the right direction, because for me was clear since the first test in Malaysia. But we needed some time to comeback here.
