Prima Pramac Racing will start a partnership with Yamaha in MotoGP as early as 2025. Initially, the project will involve developing a bike that is currently among the least competitive in the field, with the manufacturer getting a satellite team that will have similar conditions to the factory team.
Gino Borsoi, team manager at Pramac, explained in an interview with PecinoGP that there is an effort to instill Yamaha with Ducati’s working methods – currently the strongest manufacturer in MotoGP:
– What we are trying to do, along with Max [Bartolini], is to bring to Yamaha what is Ducati’s way of working, mindset, standards, and ideas. That is the best foundation, the best formula, to start getting results as soon as possible.
It is not known how long it will take for the desired results to materialize, but Borsoi is certain of one thing, as he stated: ‘When will they come? It is evident that as soon as possible, no one knows. But when you have an idea, a direction, a way of working, I am quite convinced that the results will come soon’.
