Prima Pramac clinched the MotoGP team championship last year and contended for the rider’s title with Jorge Martín until the final race. Therefore, despite being a satellite team, the responsibilities heading into 2024 are greater.
Team manager Gino Borsoi emphasized during the presentation that the goal is to replicate last year’s performances but with a different outcome:
– We were able to have an incredible season in 2023, but we are ready also this season to try to do the same. Our riders are strong, we did an incredible test. And now we’re ready, we’ll just try to do the same, but with a different end – because we were strong, but in the last race we lost the championship. But this season we can try again.
Martín remains with Pramac and also aims to contend for the title. His new teammate is the 2020 MotoGP World Championship runner-up, Franco Morbidelli, joining from the Yamaha factory team.
