Álvaro Bautista had a bittersweet round in Misano this last weekend, crashing on sunday Superpole Race and then finishing on the podium in the following race. He admitted he wasn’t feeling at the best, in terms of feelings, but that he also enjoyed.
Here is the spaniard’s review on his sunday, with him to say he didn’t had the best feelings: ‘I made a good start and I could take a good line in the first few corners and recover some positions. After that, I tried to get to my best pace but the feeling from the bike wasn’t the best. We have to keep building my confidence and improving the setup. Obviously, I would have liked to win here in front of the Ducati fans but it was difficult.
The spaniard left a word to the winner Toprak Razgatlioglu:‘Toprak had an incredible level all weekend and he was untouchable. We did our best and we’ll try to keep improving for the next races’.
Bautista then said, on the team’s official website, that he enjoyed, looking forward already for the next race
– I made a great comeback, and I should say that I had fun. For sure, we are still not in our best shape. We worked a lot on the bike this weekend, trying to find the ideal set-up, which, in the end, we were not able to find. Now, we need to reset and analyze the data in order to arrive at Donington with more certainty.
