Pedro Acosta joined the MotoGP elite this year, marking another step in his career, though not the last he aims to take—the ultimate goal being the championship title.
The Red Bull GasGas Tech3 rookie has had a career filled with success. He arrived in the paddock in 2021 and was immediately crowned Moto3 champion, followed by two seasons in Moto2 where he also claimed a title in 2023.
In the premier class, he has already achieved his first podiums—reaching the top three in only his second Grand Prix in Portugal. The next step will be victory, and ultimately, he aspires to become champion.
Despite acknowledging that many dreams remain to be fulfilled, Acosta expressed his satisfaction with his current situation in an interview with Dominika Grnova:
– We’ve achieved the dream, but there are still many to go. I was the kid who realized the dream. The bigger part is to win, but at the end I’m super happy to be in the manufacturer that I am, with KTM, at the end they are the boys who are helping me since the beginning of my career – since the Rookies Cup. In the last six seasons these guys were helping me. For this, I’m more than happy to be in this paddock and in this family.
