Hero MotoCorp is one of the world’s largest manufacturers, with more than 112 million customers worldwide and millions of vehicles sold every year. The Indian manufacturer announced a series of strategic initiatives at EICMA 2023, including large-scale growth plans to increase its presence in electric mobility, enter new ICE vehicle categories and start operations in Europe. In line with its vision of delivering world-class experiences and products to its customers around the world, the company presented three concepts and three production-ready models at EICMA 2023. It also announced the roadmap for entering the European market, specifically in Spain, France and the UK, by mid-2024.
The company presented two new ICE scooters: Xoom 125R and Xoom 160. Both products will soon be available in all regions. The VIDA V1 Pro was also presented for the European and British markets. The VIDA V1 is the company’s first e-scooter, launched under its emerging mobility brand: VIDA, Powered by Hero.
As part of a comprehensive portfolio of premium high-cylinder motorcycles, the Concept 2.5R XTunt, a new category for the company, was also presented. In line with the vision “Be the Future of Mobility”, Hero MotoCorp also presented two electric vehicle concepts: Lynx and Acro. These two products represent a completely new approach to urban mobility and were developed at the company’s European research and development center, Tech Center Germany, near Munich.
