Spanish brand Wottan Motor is bringing some new products to Eicma 2023 from its range of scooters, as well as an interesting prototype scooter with a 16-inch front wheel. The Spanish manufacturer, which has strong industrial relations with the Chinese company Taro, from which the Wottan models are derived, presented the X-SUV, the Storm-X and the D03, a prototype still in development that we will see in its final form at Eicma 2024.
The STORM-X 125 is a scooter equipped with a 125 cc liquid-cooled 4-stroke single-cylinder engine with electronic fuel injection, a maximum power of 14.6 hp and a maximum torque of 14.5 Nm. It is equipped with a Start&Stop system to reduce fuel consumption and pollutant emissions. It is also equipped with ABS and switchable TCS. It will be available from the end of November 2023 at a price to be determined.
The X-SUV is designed for urban mobility. It will be available in two versions, a 125 cc and a 250 cc (but there is also talk of a possible increase in displacement to 300 cc). Built in Italy, the X-SUV is designed around a tubular steel frame, completed by a fork connected to a double hydraulic shock absorber adjustable in preload. The wheels are both 14″. The engine is a 4-stroke, liquid-cooled single-cylinder with electronic fuel injection, which delivers a maximum power of 26 hp in the 250 cc version and 13 hp in the 125 cc version. According to the brand, the X-SUV will be available from May 2024 at a price to be determined.
