The coming weeks will be busy for Yamaha in the MotoGP, with four Grand Prix races scheduled in the span of a month, along with several tests.
The first of these tests will be private, taking place next week. Fabio Quartararo revealed that after the Austrian GP, Yamaha will spend two days testing at the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli:
– We will go to Misano after Austria. After Austria we’ll have a two-day test in Misano. I think it’s going to be interesting also for us to test this engine in a lot of places.
As Yamaha is in a position that allows for more development concessions, the Iwata-based manufacturer is keen to make the most of this opportunity to further develop the YZR-M1 and make it competitive again. Every test is crucial in this process.
It’s worth noting that Misano will host not only this private Yamaha test but also two Grand Prix events (San Marino and Emilia Romagna) and an official test day.
